The notification prints no grand total. The figure of 10 is the sum of the seven posts in the table below. These are small numbers, with one or two seats per post. Read your own post’s row twice before you spend money on the fee and the postage.

DSC means Deprived Scheduled Caste of Haryana. Only the Assistant post has a seat reserved for DSC. Every other post is notified for the General category only. The notice does not split the Steno-typist posts between Hindi and English, or the Hostel Attendant posts between male and female.
Every candidate must be a citizen of India and must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject at Matric or higher level. Qualification and experience are counted as on the last date, 26 November 2026.

Don’t worry if the table looks long. Find your own post and read only that row, but do read it fully. The Sanitary Officer post has two routes, and the experience needed is longer on the NTC route. If you hold a Graduate degree or an ITI certificate, pick the post that matches it. Experience counts only after you earned the required qualification, and the certificate must show the period, designation and pay level, backed by a PF statement, Form 16, bank statement, ITR or other proof of salary.

Age is counted as on 26 November 2026. Relaxation follows the Haryana Chief Secretary’s notification dated 25.03.2022, as amended. For DSC, OSC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, ESM and PwBD candidates of Haryana it is allowed only where the post is reserved for that category. The notice does not list the years of relaxation.

FPL stands for Functional Pay Level of the Haryana government. The notification gives no pay amount, grade pay or allowances. Please check the University website before you decide, instead of guessing a salary.

For Steno-typist, the written test comes first and you need at least 40% to qualify. Only then is the stenography skill test held. The University also reserves the right to decide the selection criteria, and its decision is final. The notice says candidates found eligible by the Screening Committee and shortlisted will be called for interview, but it gives no interview marks in the marking scheme. Merit points are not rounded and are worked out to three decimal places. If your degree shows a CGPA and no percentage, attach the university’s conversion table. Without it, a 10-point CGPA is multiplied by 9 to get your percentage.
The test structure and syllabus will be uploaded on the University website in due course. Until then, brush up your syllabus and exam pattern basics for clerical and trade work. Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not entitle you to a call for the test or interview, and the University can limit the shortlist to a reasonable number.

The fee concession is for reserved categories of Haryana only. Fee once deposited is neither transferable, refundable nor adjustable, except that the notice says it will be refunded if the University withdraws a post. The notice calls the payment “offline mode” but prints a payment link (forms.eduqfix.com/svsurectff/add), and the payment slip must be attached to the application form.

Keep your qualification, experience proof and caste certificate (if you claim a concession) ready. A PwBD candidate should also attach the disability certificate. Page-number and list every attached document, or you are responsible for any that gets lost or misplaced. Use a mobile number and e-mail ID that will not change, because updates may be sent there. The University says corrigenda, test dates and shortlists will be put only on its website, not in newspapers.
