Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Kaam Ki Khoj collects about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, please write to us using the contact details at the end.

Kaam Ki Khoj is operated by Wild Cats Media, SCO-47, Second Floor, World Street, Sector-79, Faridabad, Haryana 121014, India ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), Wild Cats Media is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data, and you are the Data Principal.

1. The most important thing to understand

Kaam Ki Khoj is a job portal. Its whole purpose is to connect job seekers with employers. This means:

If you create a job seeker profile, employers and recruiters who have purchased a CV / resume search package from us can search for, view and download your profile — including your name, contact number, email address, work history and any CV you upload — and can contact you about job opportunities.

That is the service you are signing up for, and you consent to it when you create a profile. If you do not want employers to be able to find and contact you, please do not create a job seeker profile. You can withdraw this consent and delete your profile at any time — see section 8.

2. What personal data we collect

2.1 Information you give us when you register

2.2 Information in your job seeker profile

2.3 Information if you register as an employer

2.4 Information created through your use of the site

2.5 Technical information collected automatically

2.6 What we do not collect

We do not ask job seekers for Aadhaar numbers, PAN, passport numbers or any other government identity number. We do not ask for bank account details, card numbers or UPI IDs — payments are handled entirely by our payment partners (section 5.1). No employer or person acting on our behalf will ever ask you for these, or for money, in order to get a job through Kaam Ki Khoj. If someone does, please report it to us immediately.

3. Why we use your personal data

What we doWhy
Create and maintain your account and profileTo provide the service you asked for
Show your profile to employers with a CV search packageThe core purpose of the service, with your consent
Send your application and CV to an employer when you applyTo act on your instruction
Send job alerts and recommended jobsWith your consent; you can turn these off
Schedule and host interviewsTo provide the service
Process payments for paid packagesTo perform our contract with you
Respond to your questions and complaintsTo provide support and meet our legal duties
Detect fraud, fake listings and misuse; keep the site secureOur legitimate interest in a safe platform, and legal duty
Meet legal, tax and regulatory obligationsRequired by law

We rely on your consent for most of the above. Where we rely on a legal obligation or on certain legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, we say so. We will not use your personal data for a new purpose without telling you first.

4. Who can see your profile

Employers who receive your data are independently responsible for how they use it. We require them by contract to use it only for genuine recruitment, and we prohibit them from reselling it, adding you to marketing lists, or using it for any other purpose. We cannot, however, control what a recruiter does once they have your details, in the same way that we cannot control what happens to a CV you email directly to a company.

5. Who else we share data with

5.1 Payment partners

Paid packages are processed by third-party payment gateways. When you pay, you are transferred to the gateway and enter your card, UPI or bank details on their systems, not ours. We receive only a confirmation of success or failure, the amount, and a transaction reference. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.

5.2 Service providers

These providers act on our instructions and may only use your data to provide their service to us.

5.3 Legal disclosures

We may disclose personal data where we are required to by law, by a court order, or by a lawful request from a government or law enforcement agency; or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or to prevent fraud or harm.

5.4 What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent or trade candidate databases. We do not share your data with advertisers for their own marketing.

6. Children and young people

Under the DPDP Act, anyone under 18 years of age is a child.

A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review, correct or delete their child's data. If we learn that a child has registered without verifiable parental consent, we will suspend the account and delete the data.

7. How long we keep your data

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer (section 11). We may need to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.

9. Cookies

We use cookies for:

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

10. Security and data breaches

We take reasonable security safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole site, hashed passwords, access controls limiting which staff can see personal data, and regular security updates to our systems.

No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected user within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as the DPDP Act requires, and we will tell you plainly what happened, what data was involved, and what you should do.

Please help us by choosing a strong, unique password and never sharing it.
