Designation: Assistant Manager Legal Recovery - Wheels

Job Brief:- The role involves managing and overseeing the legal recovery processes related to vehicle financing at AU Small Finance Bank Limited. The incumbent will be responsible for strategizing and executing recovery actions to minimize non-performing assets within the wheels financing portfolio. This position requires close coordination with legal teams, recovery agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and company policies. The role demands a proactive approach to dispute resolution, documentation management, and enforcement of recovery measures, contributing to the bank's asset quality and financial health.
Responsibilities:- 
  • Develop and implement effective legal recovery strategies for vehicle loan portfolios to reduce delinquency and non-performing assets.
  • Coordinate with internal legal teams and external legal counsel to initiate and manage recovery litigation and enforcement actions.
  • Monitor and analyze recovery performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to legal recovery and asset repossession.
  • Manage relationships with recovery agents and third-party vendors to optimize recovery outcomes and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Lead negotiations and settlements with borrowers to facilitate amicable recovery solutions while safeguarding the bank’s interests.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the recovery team on legal procedures, compliance updates, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with credit and risk departments to identify high-risk accounts and develop preemptive recovery plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal precedents, and regulatory changes impacting vehicle loan recovery processes.
