Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) is looking for a scale-focused and customer-obsessed Software Development Engineer.<br/>As an SDE, you will be part of a team that adds new capabilities to our customers through core engineering and AI/ML methodologies. The solutions heavily leverage technology to challenge conventional wisdom with hard data. Our SDEs solve complex problems and get to see the impact of their work first-hand.<br/>In this role you will have the opportunity to exercise your creativity and explore ideas to simulate and quantify any aspect of the customer experience. <br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for data collection and analysis platforms<br/>- Build and optimize automated data collection frameworks across different surfaces (web, mobile)<br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement efficient solutions<br/>- Write high-quality, maintainable code while following best practices and design patterns<br/>- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation<br/>- Debug production issues and implement performance improvements<br/>- Work with ML technologies and LLM driven extraction services to enhance data processing capabilities<br/>- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy<br/>- Mentor junior developers and participate in team's agile development process<br/><br/>A day in the life<br/>You'll work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other engineers to build tools that enable large-scale data collection and analysis. We use technical and non-technical approaches and stay aware of industry and business trends. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience<br/>- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience<br/>- Experience programming with at least one software programming language<br/>- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
