Job Description
Designing, updating and maintaining website; analysing and advising on introduction of new feature technology; content creation and updating on social media platforms; maintaining system integration; assisting purchase and maintenance of hardware and software for IT system; any other similar work assigned by Zoo administration.

Email it to nzpzoo-cza@nic.in by 22 November 2026, 06:00 PM, or send by registered post / by hand to The Director, National Zoological Park, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110003 so that it reaches by the same deadline. The application received after the due date and time will not be entertained.
Important Instructions
Appointment is on a full-time basis, and consultants would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of Consultancy with the NZP. The appointment of Consultants is of a temporary (non-official) nature and the appointment can be cancelled at any time by the Director, NZP without assigning any reason. The initial tenure of engagement would be upto a period of three years (1+1+1) (subject to performance); continuation beyond three years for upto additional two years will be considered on a case-to-case basis with the approval of the Competent Authority. As the posts are temporary in nature and purely contractual, in no case shall any request for promotion of a candidate be entertained. Absence from duty for a continuous period of 8 days, without any information or any valid reason, shall lead to automatic termination of contractual engagement. Consultants shall not be entitled to any allowance such as Dearness Allowance, Residential Telephone, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, and Medical Reimbursement, etc. Paid leave of absence at the rate of 1.5 days for each completed month of service; unavailed leave in tenure of single year cannot be carried forward. Annual increment between 0% to 8% depending upon quality of performance determined by the Director on a case-to-case basis. No TA/DA shall be admissible for interview, joining the assignment or on its completion. Working hours same as regular Government employee; one day weekly off as decided by Director; attendance marked in Biometric system. Consultant shall be subject to the provisions of the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 and will not divulge any information gathered during the assignment. If services are found in conflict with the interests of the Government or unsatisfactory, engagement is liable for discontinuation without assigning any reason. Selected candidates provide an integrity certificate from 2 references and a self-undertaking of no criminal record.
