The vacancies may increase or decrease depending on NPCC’s requirement. The PwBD seats are counted inside the totals above, not on top of them.
All qualifications must be from a university or institution recognised by UGC or AICTE, or a foreign one given equivalence by AIU. Full-time, part-time, regular or distance modes are accepted. Except CA and CMA, the essential qualification for every post other than Dy. Manager (Law) must be of at least two years. NPCC decides equivalence, and its decision is final.

If your certificate does not name the specialization, you must upload a certificate from your university stating it. If you hold more than one specialization, one of them must match the post. Experience counts only from the earliest of your result declaration, final mark sheet, provisional certificate or degree date, up to the cut-off date.

Serving employees of NPCC, government bodies or PSUs need 2 years in the next below pay scale. Contract staff on consolidated pay, and private-sector candidates, must have drawn an equal CTC for two years on the cut-off date. Form 16 signed by an authorised officer is required to claim CTC. It is clarified that the two-year below-scale requirement does not apply to those already in the same scale or above, but they must meet every other criterion.

Along with pay, you get DA, HRA, perks, CPF, gratuity and leave encashment as per NPCC rules. The selected candidate serves a one-year probation, and appointment is subject to medical fitness by an approved government hospital or medical board. You may be posted anywhere in India or abroad.

NPCC names the interview only as an example and leaves the final method to itself, so wait for its announcement instead of guessing an exam pattern. Only shortlisted candidates called for interview get to-and-fro rail fare beyond 30 km from the nearest railway station: 2nd AC Sleeper for E-6 and 3rd AC Sleeper for E-2 and E-1, on showing the ticket. Just applying does not give you the right to be called for interview.
