Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala has released the Provisional Merit List for document verification of Act Apprentices, vide notice no. 3-E/RCF/Act.App./Rectt/2026-27 dated 4 November 2026. The trade-wise lists are for the engagement of 734 Act Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, and document verification runs from 16 November 2026. The list is a PDF, and it is also on the RCF website.
This merit list belongs to the RCF Kapurthala Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026, which has the full notification, vacancies and eligibility. Each trade has its own list and its own verification dates, so find your trade first, then check your application number against that list.

Verification is held at the Technical Training Centre of RCF, Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 16.00 hrs and Saturday from 09.00 to 12.30 hrs. Candidates must reach on time and on the given date, otherwise their candidature will not be considered. No daily allowance, conveyance or travelling allowance is paid to candidates called for document verification.
The lists carry the application number, name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, category and merit percentage of each candidate. They were prepared at 1.5 times the number of seats in each trade and category.
Inclusion in the list is not selection. Selection as an Act Apprentice is subject to document verification and to the candidate meeting the minimum physical fitness (medical) standards prescribed in the Apprenticeship Act and the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, as amended from time to time.
Bring all originals, plus one set of attested photocopies of each.
Candidates must also submit a medical fitness certificate with an attested, affixed photograph. It must be issued by a Government authorised doctor (Gazetted) not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a Central or State Hospital, in the format of Annexure-A.

Selection as an Act Apprentice is subject to document verification and the medical fitness check. The notice gives no dates beyond verification.
