The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has invited online applications for scheme-based teacher engagement in CBSE-affiliated Government schools of Himachal Pradesh. The notice covers 15 subjects, including English Teacher, Mathematics Teacher and Teacher (Hindi), and the per-post totals add up to 2,423 posts. The notice prints no grand total, and it says the posts are tentative. Teachers get a fixed honorarium of Rs 30,000 a month for 10 months in an academic year. This is not a regular government salary, so read the terms before you apply.
Applications run from 10 November 2026 to 5 December 2026. If you hold a Master’s degree, B.Ed. and TET in your subject, and you are 18 to 45 years old, look closely at this one. This guide covers vacancies, qualification, age, honorarium, selection, fees and the conditions that can cancel your candidature. Keep visiting GovtJobsAlert.in and the Himachal Pradesh govt jobs page for similar openings.

Two things to know about these numbers. The notice prints no grand total; 2,423 is simply the sum of the printed post totals. For Economics, the printed category figures add up to one more than the row’s printed total, so treat that row with care. The notice also says the number of posts is tentative, may rise or fall, and that vacancies and reservation can change without notice. Apply under your correct category, because a reserved post can be added later.
Every qualification must be held by the closing date, 5 December 2026. For most subjects you need a Master’s degree with 50% marks, a B.Ed. with 50% marks, TET, and proficiency in teaching Hindi and English. TET must be from the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala, or another agency authorised by the Government.
