The notice asks for no work experience for any of the six posts. It also says this qualification is only a short summary for general understanding. The full eligibility is in the detailed advertisement on the GPSC website, so please read it before you apply. If you are looking at more engineering government jobs, the same degree-wise page will help.
This short notice does not print the minimum or maximum age, or any age relaxation. These are in the detailed advertisement. What the notice does say is that your age is counted as on the last date of online application, 20 November 2026. It also says that only the SSCE certificate showing your date of birth is accepted as age proof. No other document is valid, so keep it ready. If your school certificate has a spelling or date mismatch with your other papers, get it sorted now instead of at the last minute.
The notice does not state the pay scale. It sends candidates to the detailed advertisement on the GPSC website for the pay scale of each post. We do not want to guess a figure for you, so please check the pay for your post there before you decide between the Class-1 and Class-2 posts. Executive Engineer is a Class-1 post, while Deputy Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer are Class-2 posts.
| Stage | Detail |

The Commission may take consent and a consent deposit for the examination if it decides so. If you reach the face-to-face round, keep your certificates ready and produce them at that meeting. Exam pattern, syllabus and qualifying marks are not given in this notice. You can check the GovtJobsAlert.in syllabus page for updates once they are out. The first stage, the General Studies Primary Test, is tentatively on 17 January 2027. Dates can change, so watch the GPSC website.

The Commission also advises you not to wait until the last day. The website stays open only until 11:59 pm on 20 November 2026, so fill the form early and confirm it.
