Education Qualification
A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act). A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto, in the respective discipline/subject. For Super-Specialty Disciplines: D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super-specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super-specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course), or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience
Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. For Super-Specialty Disciplines: One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. No experience is necessary for candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates not exceeding 50 years of age who have the prescribed medical qualification, including MD/MS or DM/M.Ch. in the relevant discipline, along with the required teaching and/or research experience, are eligible to apply for these Assistant Professor vacancies. Age, experience and all other prescribed qualifications will be counted as on the closing date of application, and the period of experience is counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification. Candidates applying under reserved posts (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) will be considered subject to the latest Caste/Income/Disability Certificate issued by the appropriate or competent authority in the prescribed format. Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate from their respective employer at the time of interview. Otherwise, the candidate will not be permitted to attend the interview and the candidature will be rejected.

(MBBS के बाद 2 वर्ष या 5 वर्ष की मान्यता प्राप्त पाठ्यक्रम) की योग्यता प्राप्त करने के बाद विशेषता के विषय में एक मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान में एक वर्ष की शिक्षण और/या अनुसंधान अनुभव या इसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यता। D.M./M.Ch. की 3 वर्षीय मान्यता प्राप्त डिग्री रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए कोई अनुभव आवश्यक नहीं है या इसके समकक्ष मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यता।
