The notification gives no category-wise split. The posts are open to all candidates (UR, OBC, SC/ST and others). The place of posting is decided by SECR when it offers appointment. The Level-1 posts are spread equally, 2 each, across the three divisions.

The 50% marks rule is not insisted on for ST, SC, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen, or for candidates with a higher qualification such as Graduation or Post Graduation. For the technical route, no other qualification, including a Diploma in Engineering, is accepted. Hold both qualifications by the notification date itself. This applies to both levels. All four conditions are mandatory, and candidates without them need not apply.

Note that these minimum certificates earn no marks; only additional events and courses score. You cannot be a member of two State Associations at the same time. The Certificate of Activeness must carry the clear dated signatures and names of the Group Leader, District Organising Commissioner and District Commissioner. A certificate without a date, seal, signature or any of those names will be summarily rejected and the candidature will not be considered.

Count your age on 1 January 2027, not on the day you apply, and check the date-of-birth limits row by row. If you want age relaxation, you must upload the caste certificate in the prescribed format. Otherwise you will be treated as a General (UR) candidate and must meet the UR conditions.

The notice prints only the Level and Grade Pay and does not state the basic pay amount, so we are not guessing a figure. Candidates appointed in Clerk categories must gain typing proficiency within two years of joining, and their appointment stays provisional until they do.

The written test is bilingual (Hindi and English), and there is a separate written test for Level-1 and Level-2. RRC Bilaspur will announce the date and call letters on the website later. The notice does not state qualifying marks or negative marking, so check the official page again before the exam. Prepare the Scouting syllabus well, because the written test is built around it, and the certificate marks add up to 40, which is a big share of the total.

You may list at most 4 national events, 4 state events, 2 specialisation courses and 3 district events, each with certificate number, date and place. No other certificate is entertained at verification. The syllabus covers Scouting history, laws and promises, badges, flags, jamborees, training centres and community programmes.
Keep JPEG scans ready: your photograph (25 to 75 KB), your signature in running handwriting (not capital letters), and self-attested proofs of date of birth, education, caste and Scouting qualification, plus the Annexure-A certificate.

Economically backward means family income under Rs 50,000 a year. A BPL card, Izzat MST or Central Government poverty-programme certificate is also valid; the income certificate format is Annexure-E.
