Physical Standards & Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Details

  • Minimum Height : Male: 157 cms | Female: 152 cms. (Relaxation up to 5 cms for North-East / Gorkhas and up to 2 cms for Island residents).
  • Chest (Male Only) : Minimum chest circumference 77 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
  • Weight : Proportionate to height and age as per Indian Navy / Coast Guard medical regulations.

Selection Process

  • Stage-I : Computer Based Online Examination (CBE) covering relevant sections as per post applied.
  • Stage-II : Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification, and Recruitment Medical Examination.
  • Stage-III : Final Document Verification and Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
  • Stage-IV : Original Document Verification and Educational Credential Authentication with issuing Boards/Universities.

  • Register using your valid mobile number and personal email address through the One-Time Registration (OTR) module if not already registered.
