Computer Programmer candidates with knowledge of Dot Net, Java, MSSQL or Oracle get preference and 5 merit marks. For Accountant in the Surguja and Bastar divisions, a B.Com pass in second division is enough. Experience is not mandatory, but it earns merit marks (see the selection table). Experience counts only if it comes after you earned the minimum qualification, and it must be in government rural development schemes at equal or higher pay.

All relaxations together can never take the maximum age above 45 years. Employees get no extra age benefit for their earlier service. The notification does not state the date on which age is counted, so check the official notification before you apply.

The Programmer post pays more than double the Accountant post, and the qualification bar is higher too. If you hold both a B.Com and a computer degree, you may apply for both posts, but you need a separate application for each.
The pay is a fixed consolidated amount. It is a contract job for one year; a further year may be considered based on need, suitability, efficiency, Annual Performance Appraisal and conduct, with mutual consent. Appointment follows the Chhattisgarh GAD contractual appointment conditions of 31 December 2012 and the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965.
Selection is by a merit list on 100 marks. For each category, 10 candidates are called in order of merit against every 1 vacancy for the written or skill computer practical test. The final decision rests with the district level selection committee. The test date and venue are not announced yet.

Marks matter a lot here, because the written or skill test carries only 15 of the 100 marks. Your percentage in the qualifying degree carries the biggest share, so keep your marksheets ready and make sure the percentage is clearly visible on the copy you attach. Accountant candidates should also attach the Higher Secondary marksheet, since those marks are counted too.
Experience marks for Programmer are 5 for up to 2 years and 10 for more than 2 years. For Accountant they are 5 for 1 to 2 years, 10 for up to 5 years and 15 for more than 5 years.
