Across all rows the seats split as General 13, General-ESM 1, EWS 3, PwD 2, BC-A 3, BC-B 2, DSC 2 and OSC 1, which adds up to the notification’s total of 27.
Notice that several disciplines carry no General seat at all. Veterinary Pathology is only for PwD, Veterinary Public Health is only for OSC, and Livestock Products Technology is only for BC-B. If a row has only reserved seats, you need that category to claim one. The university may also increase or decrease the number of engagements, add or withdraw positions, cancel the advertisement, or leave any or all posts unfilled without giving a reason.

There is one exception. For the Animal Nutrition seat in row 2, you need a B.Sc. in Agriculture Sciences from an ICAR recognised institution and a Master’s in Agronomy or Plant Breeding (Agriculture Sciences). A veterinary graduate cannot take that seat. Everywhere else, your Master’s subject must match the one in the vacancy table. A post graduate in veterinary science with a Ph.D. gets preference, but a Ph.D. is not compulsory.
Domicile matters. Candidates from states other than Haryana are treated as General category candidates, so a reserved-category seat needs a Haryana Residence Certificate and your category certificate. You must hold the prescribed qualifications on the last date, or your form will be rejected.
The notification does not state any age limit and does not mention any age relaxation. Even so, the form asks for your date of birth and a certificate showing it, so keep it ready. Experience is not listed as a requirement; the form only has an optional space for “Experience, if any”.

The notification gives one fixed figure, Rs 60,000 per month, and says no other allowance or benefit is admissible. Plan your budget around that single number, and remember that you also bear your own travel for the interview.
Think about this honestly before you apply. It is a good first teaching role and a strong line on your profile, but it is not a permanent job. The engagement ends with the Academic Year, in June 2027, and cannot exceed one year. Once it ends, no extension, interim arrangement or ad hoc continuation is permitted. You also get no right to claim regularisation, absorption or any further engagement at LUVAS.
The notification marks candidates out of 100. The university may shortlist applicants on the basis of the qualifications and documents they submit, wherever it considers this necessary. Shortlisted candidates face a Power Point Presentation and an interview, and the marks are given as below.
