NESTS has declared the ESSE-2025 Tier-II result for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts under advertisement NESTS/Adv/2025/01. Candidates who appeared in the Tier-II Subject Knowledge exam can log in with their application credentials to check their result. For TGTs, the merit list is prepared on Tier-II marks only; the notification prescribes the interview for the Principal post and the typing test for JSA.
To be considered for selection you need at least 30% marks in Tier-II (General, OBC and EWS) or 25% (SC, ST and PwBD). Based on Tier-II performance and the number of vacancies, candidates are called for document verification in the ratio 1:3, and the shortlist is displayed on the NESTS website or shown in your application login. After verification, only eligible candidates go on the panel, which stays valid for 2 years. No separate result PDF accompanies this update; check your result through the login link.
Clearing the minimum is only the first filter. The notification prepares a separate merit list for each post, follows the Government of India reservation policy, and calls candidates to document verification at three times the vacancies of that post. A subject with few seats, such as a regional-language TGT, therefore calls far fewer candidates than TGT Computer Science, which has the most TGT seats, so read your rank against the subject-wise table in this section.
Some cautions from the notification. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, even after joining, the candidature is summarily rejected, and the result of any candidate who used unfair means is cancelled. Multiple applications for the same post are cancelled if detected at any stage, and a candidate found giving misleading or inaccurate information is debarred. Keep your original certificates ready, including any required CTET Paper-II certificate issued by 23 October 2025.
