Look at these tables before anything else. Mechanical Engineering is the biggest department with 6 seats across all three cadres, while most other departments have just one or two. If your category does not appear against your subject and cadre, there is simply no seat for you in this round, however strong your profile is. Also note that no Professor or Associate Professor seat is reserved for ST.
The notice does not print the qualifications for each post. It says the qualifications, pay scales and other conditions follow the UGC Regulations 2018 and AICTE Regulations 2019 (for Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy), along with U.P. Government rules. Your API/Research Score is built only from documents you upload, such as publications, project sanction letters, patent papers and Ph.D. award letters of your students. A claim without proof is unlikely to count, so gather the evidence before you start filling scores.
The notification does not mention an age limit for applying. It only says that service conditions and the age of superannuation follow U.P. State Government norms.
The advertisement does not state any pay level or pay figure. It says only that pay scales follow the UGC Regulations 2018 / AICTE 2019 and U.P. State Government rules. The postal deadline is only five days after the online one, so post your envelope the same day you submit online. Registered or Speed Post from far districts can take several days, and the notice counts the date it reaches the Registrar, not the date you post it.

The fee is paid online with the form and is non-refundable. The notice gives no separate fee concession for PwBD or women candidates. If you qualify for two cadres in the same department, such as Associate Professor and Professor, you must fill two separate forms and pay twice, so decide early which posts you truly fit.
