About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Developer to join a dynamic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PTC Windchill customization, configuration, data migration, and integration development. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise PLM solutions while working closely with architects, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Windchill customization frameworks, Java-based development, workflow configuration, and database technologies, along with a solid understanding of PLM business processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Windchill Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining Windchill customizations and configurations according to business requirements.
  • Collaborating with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to understand requirements and implement optimal solutions.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Customizing and extending Windchill functionalities using supported APIs and best development practices.
  • Supporting the implementation of workflows, lifecycle configurations, access controls, and data models within Windchill.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying scalable and reliable solutions while ensuring code quality and performance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues reported by QA teams and business users.
  • Creating reusable components and utilities to improve development efficiency.
  • Working closely with QA teams for validation, automation support, and defect resolution.
  • Supporting data migration activities, including migration scripting and utility development.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and technical best practices.
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance to team members.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Windchill development and customization.
  • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
