Job Description

Role: VAT Preparer 
Skill: Finance and Accounts
Experience: 5 years to 8 years
Job Location: Bangalore

Education:
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)
Commerce Graduate ,CA /ICWA/ACCA/ MBA (Finance)

Must Have Skills:
Must have understanding of Indirect Taxation, Indian GST (Understanding of GCC VAT would be added advantage). Should have understanding of concepts of Reverse Charge, Blocked credits etc. Should have finance and accounting understanding. Should be able to perform reconciliations, Excel working knowledge is must.

Good-to-Have Skills:
Understanding of GCC VAT

Responsibility:-
Validation of AP Register as per the VAT Law, check for blocked credits, transactions booked with incorrect VAT code, transactions delayed booked
Validate AR register as per the VAT law, validate unapplied receipts, validate all income GL’s to check if any additional income to be reported in VAT return
Perform POS reconciliation, check if item is mapped to correct VAT code, check emirates mapping for new store opening. 
Validate Export of Goods and Services, Perform import of goods reconciliations.  
Prepare Income Reconciliation and VAT GL Reconciliations
Prepare OFIN adjustment JV’s
Discuss VAT return queries with P2P, C2C, R2R, Business and COE team.
MS excel knowledge, pivot, vlookup
Good written and verbal communications skills
