Responsible for the design, engineering, and optimization of Specialty Gas and Chemical Delivery (SGCD) systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted supply of ultra-high-purity (UHP) gases and chemicals required for critical fabrication processes. Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment layouts, piping isometrics, and detailed engineering documentation in accordance with project specifications, semiconductor industry standards, and client requirements. Perform process calculations, line sizing, pressure drop analysis, and system capacity assessments for gas distribution networks, bulk chemical systems, and point-of-use delivery systems. Coordinate the design and integration of UHP piping, valve manifolds, gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMBs), chemical distribution systems, and associated monitoring and control instrumentation. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and facility engineers to ensure seamless system integration and project execution. Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, risk assessments, vendor evaluations, procurement support, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, SEMI standards, hazardous material handling requirements, and quality assurance procedures while driving operational reliability, process efficiency, maintainability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
