Job Description

Job Requirements

The Treasury Front Office role is responsible for managing the organization's funding, liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, and investment activities.

The incumbent will execute treasury transactions, manage banking relationships, actively monitor financial markets and provide actionable market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity & Cash Management

·        Assess funding requirements for international businesses based on budgets and cash flow and prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.

·        Optimize utilization of surplus funds and ensure adequate liquidity for operational and strategic requirements.

·        Develop liquidity management strategies to improve working capital efficiency.

 

Interest Rate / Debt Management and Banking Relationship Management

·        Monitor interest rate movements, yield curve dynamics and evaluate fixed versus floating rate borrowing strategies.

·        Support banking arrangements for business expansion, acquisitions, and new entities across international markets.

·        Manage agreements, TP considerations, RPT compliance, and audit committee approvals for intercompany loans.

·        Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and facility structures with banks; complete documentation for enhancement, renewals, and amendments.

·        Coordinate with legal teams and banks to finalize agreements and Support debt raising activities including term loans and working capital facilities.

·        Support initiatives related to bank rationalization and strategic banking relationships.

 

Market Intelligence & Analysis

 

·        Track developments across: -

o  Interest rates

o  Fixed income markets

o  Central bank policies

o  Global macroeconomic events

·        Prepare treasury dashboards, market reports, and management updates.

 

Risk Management & Controls

 

·        Ensure compliance with treasury policies and delegated authorities.

·        Monitor counterparty exposure limits and financial risks.

·        Support treasury audits and regulatory reporting.

·        Maintain strong governance and control framework for treasury transactions.

 

Work Experience

 

·        CA with 2 - 3 years of working experience in Treasury

·        Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills

·        Energetic, proactive, high degree of ownership.

·        Perseverance, Quick Learner

·        Team player, Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

·        Market Updates – Global / Local

·        Good excel knowledge

·        Working knowledge of SAP / Oracle will be good
