Technical Manager will be supporting the Project and will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to manage and implement network solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Networking systems and Telco background.
· Determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risks
· Lead the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
· Identify and assemble the appropriate blend of resources to meet project needs and requirements, manages sub-contractors
· Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project
· Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan
· Undertake status review meetings among project team members and clients
· Work with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules
· Coach and advice team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues
· Proactively influence customers to apply project planning methodologies
· Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements
· Controls project requirements, scope, and change management issues
· Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
· Develop, propose, and negotiate project proposals, quotations, and add-ons to leadership and the client
· Analyze project progress / costs and facilitate the development of recommended alternatives
· Integrate and use project management methodologies
· Create communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders including the customer
· Advise senior management on project management capability and risk
· Maintain awareness on emerging technologies and project management techniques.
Resources should have telecom industry experience and able to connect with all client stakeholder to understand the new business requirement and technology.
Required Skills:
· 10-12 years’ experience in managing large scale network/telecom implementation projects
· Advanced skill in presentation and presentation tools (i.e. MS Suite to include: PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, etc.)
· Proficient with operation management and provide solution to client.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to make executive presentations
· Ability to manage client expectations, project deliverables, scope creep and timelines, navigate through obstacles, and achieve customer satisfaction
· Ability to work in high-pressure client-environments with aggressive deadlines
· Evening and Weekend work required on occasion for Project roll-outs
Ability to manage the team of more than 60 people.
