Job Description

Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of automation tools. This position focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality code and support existing projects while responding to client requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enhance Operational Systems By Utilizing Itil Frameworks And Release Management Practices To Improve Management Reporting, Streamline Information Flow, And Optimize Business Processes.
2. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Understand Client Requirements And Ensure The Support Team Consistently Meets Or Exceeds Client Expectations In Service Delivery.
3. Lead And Mentor Project Teams, Promoting Transparent Communication Of Project Goals And Fostering A Culture Of Accountability And Collaboration.
4. Drive Innovation By Introducing New Ideas For Process Development, Applying Best Practices In Service Management, And Facilitating Overall Organizational Progress.
5. Provide Tailored Solutions That Align With Customer Needs By Leveraging Tools Such As Bmc Remedy And Ca Service Desk, Ensuring Effective Problem Resolution And Contributing To Positive Business Outcomes.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Release Management And Itil Principles
2. Strong Knowledge Of Tools Such As Servicenow (Snow), Bmc Remedy, And Ca Service Desk
3. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And A Proactive Approach To Operational Challenges
4. Effective Communication And Team Leadership Abilities
5. Familiarity With Continuous Improvement Methodologies

Other Requirements

1. Itil Foundation Certification (Recommended)
2. Release Management Certification (Optional But Valuable
