Job Description –Wintel SME (L3) 1.1 Key Responsibilities: • L3 Incident Escalation: Act as the final escalation point for complex Windows Server OS, Failover Cluster, and Hyper-V/VMware issues, leading root cause analysis (RCA) and mitigation plans. • Core Service Administration: Install, upgrade, and manage Windows Servers across multi-vendor physical hardware (HPE, Lenovo) and Cloud IaaS VMs. • Directory & Network Services: Manage Active Directory infrastructures (OU, GPO, Forest/Domain configurations), DNS, DHCP, and Print Servers. • File Systems & Replication: Configure and support DFS-N Namespaces and DFS-R replication alongside complex file/folder permissions and folder redirection. • Patch Management: Oversee and enforce enterprise Windows patch management using SCCM and hybrid deployment tools like Azure Arc. • Cloud & Workload Migration: Drive complex P2V/V2V migrations and on-premises transitions to Multi-Cloud IaaS environments.
