We are looking for a Tooling Engineer who will work closely with Supply Management, Product Design, Industrial Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering groups on new part designs.
As a Tooling Engineer you would be responsible to review tool concept, layout and DFM.
You would also lead the development of new plastic tooling projects to meet a wide range of product performance and cosmetic requirements
Minimum 10 years' experience in plastic tool design, mold making or injection molding industry.
Minimum 5 years work experience as a tool designer
Familiar with tool fabrication processes and methodology for high volume precision tool
Well-rounded in injection molding tool design, including various gate scheme, over-mold, multiple shots and etc
Systematic, analytical & strong trouble-shooting skills
Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning, hot runner systems application and scientific molding technique
Familiar with 3D modelling/simulation software such as Pro/E, Unigraphics, Moldflow, Moldex3D or other software packages

Good knowledge in wide range of materials such as engineering plastic, liquid silicon rubber, thermal plastics, MIM, primer and epoxy

Experience in managing and develop precision parts, high pace and mass volume products with multiple vendors in parallel
Effective written, presentation, verbal and cross functional communication
