Job Description

Job Summary

Experienced Infor HCM/WFM SME with 8 to 12 years to work as Techno Functional consultant to resolve Integration issues, development of IPA workflows, work with Business users to understand new requirements and resolve support tickets.

Key Responsibilities

Core Functional Expertise

Infor WFM (Workforce Management)

  • Time & Attendance configuration, scheduling rules, pay rules
  • Labor planning, accruals, compliance rules
  • Interface behavior (HCM → WFM data flow)
  • Troubleshooting import/export failures and transaction states
  • Hands-on knowledge of WFM administration & user setup

Infor GHR / HCM

  • Employee lifecycle management (Hire → Terminate)
  • Organization structure, jobs, positions
  • ESS/MSS configurations
  • Security roles & user provisioning
  • Data corrections & master data ownership

2. Integration & Interface (Critical for Build SME)

  • End-to-end interface understanding:
    • Sender → Middleware → Receiver flow
  • HCM ↔ WFM interface troubleshooting & reprocessing
  • File-based integrations (CSV, SFTP, APIs)
  • Knowledge of integration failure points and root cause handling
  • Interface re-run from HCM
  • Multi-system coordination
  • Dependency on integration ownership clarity

3. Infor OS / ION / IPA Workflow (Must for SME)

IPA (Intelligent Process Automation)

  • Workflow design & development
  • Task routing, approvals, escalations
  • Exception handling & automation
  • Monitoring & debugging IPA jobs

Infor ION / OS Platform

  • Event-driven architecture
  • Business Object Documents (BODs)
  • API / middleware integration
  • ION workflows & document flows
  • Enterprise workflow orchestration
  • Workflow automation
  • API integration layer
  • Activity monitoring & exception handling

4. Technical Skills

  • SQL / Data validation / Data analysis
  • API concepts (REST/SOAP)
  • File-based interfaces & job schedulers
  • Batch jobs / schedulers / triggers
  • Log analysis & RCA capability

5. Build-Specific SME Capabilities

  • Requirement analysis + solution design (As-Is / To-Be)
  • Interface design and mapping
  • Workflow automation design
  • Functional + technical documentation
  • KT ownership & SME dependency removal
  • Architecture understanding
  • Integration design
  • Documentation of interfaces & workflows

6. Support + Troubleshooting Depth (SME Expectation)

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across:
    • HCM
    • WFM
    • Middleware
    • IPA workflow
  • Data reconciliation across systems
  • Ability to identify source system (where issue originates)
  • Issues often appear in WFM but originate in HCM
  • Fixes must be applied at correct system layer

7. Soft / Leadership Skills (SME Level)

  • Stakeholder management (client + third-party vendors)
  • Ownership clarity definition across systems
  • KT planning & execution
  • Proactive issue prevention (not reactive support)
  • Ownership clarity
  • Documentation maturity
  • SME-driven governance

Other Requirements

  • To work in two shifts on rotational basis. (6 AM IST to 3 PM IST and 3 PM to 11 PM IST)
