ServiceNow Developer (Platform & Now Assist)

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and implement ServiceNow application components across platform, workflows, integrations, and user interfaces.
Develop and maintain custom applications, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer solutions.
Build and support integrations using Integration Hub, Scripted REST APIs, and other ServiceNow integration capabilities.
Configure and customize ServiceNow platform modules and ensure adherence to platform best practices.
Leverage Now Assist (Generative AI) capabilities for workflow automation, agent productivity, knowledge generation, and platform optimization.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration activities.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Research and adopt new ServiceNow platform capabilities and AI-driven innovations.
Mandatory Skills
Strong ServiceNow Platform Development experience.
Hands-on ServiceNow Scripting:
JavaScript
Business Rules
Client Scripts
Script Includes

ACLs
Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
Scripted REST APIs and integrations.
Service Portal experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Database concepts and data modeling knowledge.
Now Assist / GenAI Skills
Understanding of ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities.
Experience with AI-powered workflows, virtual agents, knowledge generation, and agent assistance features.
Exposure to ServiceNow AI/GenAI implementations is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
AI Search / ServiceNow Search capabilities.
AngularJS experience.
Java/J2EE and web application development background.
Experience across additional ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or ITOM.

ServiceNow Developer with strong platform customization experience.
Hands-on experience in integrations and workflow automation.
Exposure to Now Assist / Generative AI features within ServiceNow.
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and provide technical leadership.
