Job Summary

Role: AX 2012 Technical Consultant
Project Type: Application Support & Performance Optimization

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, and optimize SQL Server Stored Procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
  • Analyze existing stored procedures and implement performance improvements based on recommendations.
  • Develop new stored procedures to support business and application requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SQL performance issues, blocking, deadlocks, and long-running queries.
  • Support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 technical components, integrations, and customizations.
  • Perform impact analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, and deployment support.
  • Work closely with functional and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve application and database performance issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, RCA reports,

Key Responsibilities

  • Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Development.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Query Optimization.
  • Proven experience in modifying existing stored procedures and developing new stored procedures for enterprise applications.
  • Experience analyzing execution plans, indexing strategies, SQL performance tuning, and database optimization.
  • Knowledge of AX 2012 architecture, AOT, X++, Batch Framework, Services, and Integrations.
  • Experience with application support, incident management, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of database performance assessment and optimization initiatives.
  • Exposure to Azure SQL, DevOps, and release management processes.
