Job Description

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain SFCC (Demandware) eCommerce applications
• Work on both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end (business logic) development
• Customize SFCC controllers, pipelines, ISML templates, and scripts
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, APIs, and CRM systems
• Implement responsive and high-performance storefronts
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and QA teams
• Optimize site performance, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in production and staging environments
• Follow CI/CD practices for code deployment

 

  • Define end-to-end SFCC solution architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance B2C commerce solutions using SFCC.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution recommendations.
  • Define integration architecture between SFCC and external platforms including OMS, PIM, CRM, ERP, Marketing Clouds, and payment providers.
  • Design reusable frameworks, common components, and best practices for multi-site and multi-brand implementations.
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.

SFCC Platform Leadership


Technical Skills Required

• SFCC / Backend
• Strong experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware)
• Hands-on with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
• Knowledge of controllers, pipelines, jobs, and OCAPI
• Experience in cartridge-based architecture
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs

• Hands on experience of jobs and web services
• Experience in helpers and models



Frontend
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with frameworks like React (preferred but optional)
• ISML templating

Tools & Technologies
• Git / Bitbucket
• Jenkins or CI/CD tools
• Web services and API integrations
• Debugging tools and performance optimization

• Knowledge of PWA (Progressive Web Apps)
• Experience with payment integrations (Adyen, PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
