Organization Overview
Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Architect to lead development architecture for large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs in the steel industry.
Role Purpose
Lead ABAP technical design, custom code modernization, SAP S/4HANA development strategy, integrations, extensions and governance across Greenfield and Brownfield programs.
Key Responsibilities
Define ABAP architecture and development standards.
Lead custom code remediation during ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
Design CDS Views, AMDP, OData services and Fiori integrations.
Review technical specifications and development quality.
Lead interfaces with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Support data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
Mentor ABAP developers and enforce coding standards.
Coordinate with functional, Basis, security and business teams.
Perform performance tuning and technical risk assessments.
Required Experience
8–10 years of SAP implementation experience.
Minimum one Greenfield implementation and two Brownfield/S/4HANA transformation projects.
Strong expertise in ABAP, OOABAP, enhancements, workflows, forms and integrations.
Experience in SAP Activate and Agile delivery methodologies.
