• Accountable to source, negotiate and mobilise Bought out parts locally and overseas suppliers to meet Automation machine
assembly due date.
• Leading a team of Engineers for identifying the right sources, products and services locally and globally
• Build and upgrade the understanding on product market and alternates.
• Develop and implement strategies for source optimization for both Mechanical and electrical commodities of automation
business
• Drive cost reduction program by localization, low tax country import, parts standardization etc
• Establish sustainable supply by establishing annual agreement
• Drive supply chain excellence to reduce PR to receipt lead time
• Supplier risk assessment and develop mitigation plan
• Concepts of vendor Stockings/inventory controls and international warranty clauses
• Monitor Measure and comply with applicable regulatory requirements
• Guide and lead the teams in setting up their goals and achieve the results through periodic reviews
• Maintain harmonious business relationship with all the suppliers and grow the chain of suppliers
• Drive supplier stocking concept and support timely mobilization of materials
• Project wise Tracking of spent and comply with the estimates
• Well versed in material management transactions through SAP ERP System (or) equivalent
• Anchor the periodic reviews to support the internal customer requirementmation industried are added advantage

Experience in manufacturing industries Sound knowledge on Mechanical Engineering products and its working principals to cover items such as Robots / Cobots / Conveyor system / Pneumatics etc applicable in Special Purpose Machines Ability to hard negotiate to align with the optimal cost and timelines Commercial knowledge on incoterms, legal terms, regulatory requirements, payment terms, and taxation procedure. Knowledge on Customs clearance process, Import/ export process 8D/ RCCA problem solving Data management, analysis and presentation
