Role & responsibilities 

  • Spearheading end-to-end procurement operations for engineering and automation projects across EMS, automotive, and machine building sectors 
  • Leading supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure value-driven procurement. 
  • Driving cost optimization initiatives while ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production and project execution. 
  • Driving end-to-end procurement for automation equipment, machinery, and project-specific assets, ensuring alignment with budget, technical specifications, and project timelines. 
  • Accelerating procurement cycles by streamlining RFQ, bid evaluation, and approval processes, reducing project lead times. 
  • Leading techno-commercial evaluations for high-value Items purchases, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and achieving cost competitiveness 
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure site readiness, installation planning, and smooth commissioning of capital equipment. 
  • Optimizing import strategies for capital equipment through better logistics planning, duty structuring, and forex risk monitoring 
  • Ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) performance through effective planning, supplier coordination, and risk mitigation. 
  • Managing vendor development through alternate sourcing, localization strategies, and import optimization, including monitoring forex impacts
