Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Security & Administration Engineer (L3) to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise Azure cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for Azure infrastructure administration, security implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, governance, automation, and operational support

Key Responsibilities

Azure Administration

  • Manage and support Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain Azure resources.
  • Perform system monitoring, patching, backup, and recovery activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.

    Azure Security

    • Implement cloud security best practices and controls.
    • Manage access control using Azure RBAC and Identity Management.
    • Configure security policies, compliance standards, and threat protection.
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.

      Networking

      • Manage Azure networking components including:
        • Virtual Networks (VNet)
        • Subnets
        • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
        • Application Gateway
        • Load Balancers
        • VPN and ExpressRoute Connectivity

      Monitoring & Operations

      • Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
      • Configure alerts, dashboards, and reporting.
      • Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
      • Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.

      Automation & Governance

      • Develop automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
      • Implement governance policies, tagging standards, and cost optimization practices.
      • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Other Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities (L3 Support Focus)

  • Act as the highest escalation point for Azure infrastructure issues.
  • Lead troubleshooting of critical production incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Review cloud architecture for security and operational excellence.
  • Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and cloud optimization initiatives
