Vendor Manager, specifically within the Jewellery Division at Titan Company Limited, (governing brands like Tanishq, Mia, and Zoya) focuses heavily on managing delivery supply chain for finished jewellery made of high-value precious materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones) and focus and decongest the constraints to meet the manufacturing targets.
Core Responsibilities:
• Vendor Performance & Workflow: Understand the complete jewellery sourcing lifecycle. Enhance vendor performance by simplifying workflows, optimizing capacities, and reducing production lead times.
• Precious Inventory Optimization: Coordinate closely with vendors to monitor and reduce excess inventory holding, specifically focusing on components like diamonds, colour stones, findings, and raw gold.
• Delivery & Order Compliance: Track order aging and alignment to ensure timely delivery of bulk or Made-To-Order (MTO) jewelry pieces.
• KPI & Quality Tracking: Manage daily performance dashboards measuring metrics like DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), LT (Lead Time), IHD (Inventory Holding Days), and DWM (Daily Work Management) dashboards. Ensure strict compliance with brand quality and hallmarking standards.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a central liaison between internal departments (Merchandising, SCM, Planning, QC/QA, Logistics, and Post-Production teams) and external supplier networks.
• System Management: Use ERP systems to log transactions, track supplier progress, and resolve technical or process bottlenecks with IT assistance.
• Critical initiatives: Compliances, Knowledge Enhancement Programs, et al.

• B.Tech / BE
