We are seeking an experienced Snowflake DBT Developer with 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud-based Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
Build and manage dbt models, macros, snapshots, seeds, and incremental loads.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets.
Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation using dbt.
Work with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Cloning, and Time Travel.
Create and maintain dimensional data models, fact tables, and data marts.
Perform query tuning and warehouse optimization in Snowflake.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
Support deployment activities through Git-based CI/CD processes.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Hands-on experience with dbt Core/dbt Cloud.
Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning.
Experience with Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Kimball).
Knowledge of ELT/ETL concepts and pipeline development.
Experience with Cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/GCP.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or Matillion.
Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake, DBT
Nice to Have
Python or PySpark development experience.
Kafka/Event-driven architecture exposure.
Experience with Databricks.
Knowledge of Machine Learning data pipelines.
Exposure to Data Mesh and Modern Data Stack concepts.
