The Network Engineer is part of a team responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the global network, & supporting various integrated systems. This role is also involved in the planning and development of the network as well as troubleshooting network issues on behalf of the users. You will take an active role in the entire technology lifecycle; from design development, implementation, and commissioning, to routine monitoring, operation and trouble resolution.
Responsible for implementing, configuring and managing all network components including Azure vWAN, Fortinet Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, VPN, ISE, and Wi-Fi technologies (mostly Cisco and Meraki devices) - Ensure continuous operation of the Global network solutions (SD-WAN, MPLS, Data Center Switching , IPSec Tunnels, BGP, LAN, Wi-Fi, vTM) - Work as part of the infrastructure team on capacity & initiative planning, performance tuning for existing networks, & network migrations. - Monitor infrastructure components and take corrective action when defects or problematic trends are discovered. - Author, update and deliver detailed documentation of system level procedures, configurations and standards. Document network build into Microsoft Visio.
Minimum 5 years of experience in direct hands on network administration of Cisco IOS, Fortigate & Meraki platforms. -Strong understanding of L2L site connectivity on all platforms -Strong understanding of large scale Fortinet, Cisco Catalyst & Meraki network deployments -Strong understanding of: Azure vWAN, BGP Routing, VSS, Datacenter Switching, routers, switches, and security devices; Fortigates. -Demonstrated knowledge of DNS, SSL, RADIUS, ESP, PKI (
Strong analytical skills in network administration, troubleshooting, performance testing, & design. - Strong knowledge of Network Security (ACL’s, IPSec Tunnels), Firewalls (Fortigate Appliances), and VPN technologies. - Strong and broad technical knowledge and experience with converged infrastructure, switching / routing in a large and complex network, DHCP, DNS, IP (Schema, subnetting, summarization) IP management tools, network management applications, advanced BGP WAN routing, Wireless topologies, MPLS and other WAN technologies. - Security best practices.
