Job Summary

  • Define and own the overall FSC data strategy, roadmap, and implementation approach across Customer, Prospect, Household, Relationship, Financial Account, Holdings, Insurance Policy, Activities, and Notes data domains.
  • Lead data discovery and assessment activities across Custom Application and all upstream/downstream source systems to establish the target-state FSC data architecture and Customer 360 vision.
  • Determine the optimal system-of-record strategy, defining what data should be mastered, maintained, and governed within Salesforce FSC versus retained and sourced from external enterprise systems.
  • Develop the enterprise data migration strategy including migration sequencing, loading approach, conversion waves, reconciliation framework, rollback considerations, and cutover planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze source-system landscapes and define data ingestion, synchronization, retention, and archival strategies across multiple integrated platforms and feeds.
  • Establish data volumetrics and sizing assumptions including record counts, historical data requirements, ingestion volumes, growth projections, storage considerations, and integration throughput requirements.
  • Define the target-state FSC data model, data relationships, household structures, client hierarchies, ownership models, and security visibility considerations supporting advisor and agency operating models.
  • Lead data mapping workshops with business and technical stakeholders to establish source-to-target mappings, field transformation rules, reference data standards, and business ownership models.
  • Design the overall migration validation and reconciliation framework, including migration success criteria, completeness checks, balancing controls, exception management, and post-load verification processes.
  • Drive data readiness planning by identifying data risks, gaps, dependencies, and quality considerations that may impact migration, reporting, adoption, or operational readiness.
  • Establish data governance recommendations including ownership models, stewardship responsibilities, master data considerations, duplicate management strategy, and ongoing data management processes.
  • Define integration data contracts and synchronization requirements for all inbound and outbound feeds supporting FSC, ensuring consistency across customer, prospect, holdings, policy, and operational data domains.
  • Lead migration testing strategy including mock conversions, data validation cycles, user validation support, defect remediation planning, and production cutover readiness assessments.
  • Partner with Business, Architecture, Integration, Security, and OCM teams to ensure the target-state data strategy supports business processes, reporting requirements, regulatory obligations, advisor experience, and future scalability objectives.
  • Provide executive-level guidance and recommendations on data risks, migration readiness, historical data scope, source-system dependencies, and data-related decisions required to support successful pilot deployment and future enterprise expansion.

Skill Requirements

  • 7+ years leading enterprise-scale CRM, FSC, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Customer 360 data programs.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data architecture and data model.
  • Experience leading complex migrations from platforms such as Custom Applications, CRM, Wealth Management, Insurance Administration, Client Management, and Advisor platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Customer, Household, Relationship, Financial Account, Holdings, Insurance Policy, Activity, and Interaction data domains.
  • Experience defining migration strategies involving multiple source systems, APIs, batch feeds, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Proven experience establishing migration volumetrics, reconciliation frameworks, data governance models, and enterprise data operating models.
  • Ability to engage effectively with business executives, operations teams, data owners, architects, and engineering teams to drive critical data decisions.
