The Windows Endpoint Security Platform engineering team is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to help build the next-generation security framework that will empower our industry-wide ecosystem of security partners. This work is central to Microsoft’s strategy to modernize endpoint security through a more resilient, extensible, and open platform.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing a new user‑mode based architecture that enables partners to deliver robust endpoint protection solutions without relying on kernel‑mode drivers - a major step forward in improving OS reliability and reducing security risk. You will contribute to a platform that must deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and a comprehensive set of capabilities to defend against evolving enterprise threats.
This initiative is a top priority within Microsoft and carries significant visibility at both executive and industry levels. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across Windows and the broader security ecosystem, helping to shape the future of endpoint protection for millions of customers worldwide.
