SAP CFIN Architect

Job Title: SAP CFIN Architect
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad
Grade: E1 / E2
Experience: 18-20+ Years

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP CFIN Architect with a strong SAP FICO background and hands-on experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementations. The role will drive finance transformation initiatives, design Central Finance solutions, and lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance programs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture
  • Lead design and implementation of SAP Central Finance solutions.
  • Define target-state finance architecture for S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices.
  • Design scalable finance solutions across complex ERP landscapes.
SAP Central Finance
  • Lead end-to-end CFIN implementations.
  • Configure and oversee Initial/Historical Load, Real-Time Replication, SLT, Mapping Framework, Central Payments, Central Reporting, Intercompany Reconciliation, AIF Monitoring, and Error Reprocessing.
Finance Process Leadership
  • Expertise in FI: GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Tax, New GL, Universal Journal.
  • Expertise in CO: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, Profitability Analysis.
Integration & Data
  • Architect integrations with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BW4HANA, MDG, Treasury, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, and third-party finance systems.
  • Drive master data harmonization, governance, migration, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
  • Lead client workshops and executive discussions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Shared Services, and IT leadership teams.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for finance transformation.

Mandatory Skills

SAP Central Finance (CFIN)
  • Strong hands-on CFIN implementation experience.
  • Expertise in SAP SLT, AIF, Initial & Delta Loads, Mapping & Key Harmonization, Central Payments, Financial Document Replication, and Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
SAP FICO
  • Strong consulting background with end-to-end implementation experience in FI, CO, Asset Accounting, COPA, Product Costing, and Profit Center Accounting.
SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • Knowledge of Universal Journal, Group Reporting, Financial Closing, Embedded Analytics, and Finance Transformation roadmaps.

Preferred Skills

SAP Group Reporting, SAP MDG-F, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Fiori, RISE with SAP, Finance Shared Services Transformation.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Act as Solution Architect for CFIN engagements.
  • Lead global onsite/offshore delivery teams.
  • Drive architecture governance and reviews.
  • Support pre-sales, solutioning, estimations, and proposals.
  • Mentor consultants and engage CXO-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or SAP Central Finance certification preferred.
  • CA/CMA/MBA Finance is an advantage.
