Job Description

1. Policy & ComplianceDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting2. Risk Assessment & Safety ManagementConduct hazard identification and risk assessments.Implement control measures to minimize workplace risks.Lead incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis.3) Training & AwarenessOrganize EHS training programs for employees and contractors.Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.Conduct safety drills (fire, evacuation, emergency response).4) Environmental ManagementMonitor environmental impact (waste, emissions, water usage).Ensure proper waste disposal and pollution control.Drive sustainability and environmental initiatives.5) Audits & ReportingConduct internal safety audits and inspections.Coordinate external audits (ISO, statutory bodies).Maintain EHS records and prepare reports for management.6) Emergency PreparednessDevelop emergency response plans.Ensure availability of safety equipment (PPE, fire systems).Coordinate with emergency services when needed.7) Continuous ImprovementAnalyze EHS performance metrics.Implement improvement programs to reduce incidents.Benchmark best practices across industry.Key SkillsStrong knowledge of safety regulations and standardsRisk assessment and hazard analysisIncident investigation techniquesLeadership and team managementCommunication and training skillsData analysis and reportingProblem-solving and decision-makingTechnical SkillsFamiliarity with EHS management systemsKnowledge of ISO standards (14001 & 45001)MS Office / reporting toolsIncident management software (preferred)
