Job Description

Execute telecommunication engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects from FEED through detailed engineering and commissioning support. Develop and review telecom engineering deliverables in accordance with project specifications and international standards. Prepare and review: Telecom Design Basis Telecom System Specifications Telecom Equipment Datasheets Material Requisitions (MR) Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) Telecom Architecture Diagrams System Block Diagrams Network Topology Drawings Telecom Equipment Layouts Installation Details Telecom Cable Schedules Perform engineering and design activities for: Public Address & General Alarm (PA/GA) Systems Telephone Systems LAN/WAN Infrastructure Fiber Optic Networks CCTV Systems Access Control Systems UHF/VHF Radio Systems Marine Communication Systems VSAT Systems Structured Cabling Systems Clock Synchronization Systems Network Communication Systems Review vendor packages and telecom system documentation. Ensure telecom systems are engineered to meet offshore environmental and operational requirements. Perform equipment sizing, system selection, and technical evaluations. Participate in multidisciplinary model reviews and engineering reviews. Coordinate telecom interfaces with control systems, electrical systems, and IT infrastructure. Review installation and commissioning procedures for telecom systems. Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Testing, and commissioning activities. Resolve technical issues arising during engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with client specifications, telecom standards, and regulatory requirements. Support Lead Telecom Engineer in project execution and technical decision-making.
