Job Description

  • Hazardous Area Classification (preparation of Hazardous Equipment schedules and Hazardous Area Classification Layouts)                                                                       Fire water demand calculations                                                                                   PIPENET-Hydraulic Calculations of fire water systems                                               Participate in safety reviews like Hazid, Hazop and LOPA/SIL                                     Prepare fire and gas detection layouts                                                                         Carry out vent dispersion modelling and radiation study                                             Escape Route Layout/Fire Fighting, Safety & Life Saving Equipment Layouts/Safety Sign Layout                                                                                                                   Design of firewater pump system, deluge system and building sprinkler system         PIPENET-Hydraulic Calculations of fire water systems and surge analysis                 Preparation of firefighting and safety equipment items                                                  Review vendor offers for firefighting items
  • To provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution.
  • •To be responsible for all the work with reference to a  document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him.
  • •To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
  • •To anticipate and discuss any potential delays and problems, if a with the Lead Engineer
  • •To co-ordinate with the fellow Job Engineers and Lead Engineers for smooth progress of the contract
  • •To close audit findings in a timely manner.
  • •To provide inputs as and when required to the relevant disciplines   and to designers
  • •To identify the inputs required for Need list and Hold list and update
  • Dispersion and Radiation Analysis/study reports, Fire water Hydraulic Analysis report, Hazardous Area Classification Schedule, Dropped Object Study, Quantitative Risk Assessment & other safety studies
