Provide L3 support for production AIX environments. • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents. • Lead installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade activities. • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, SLAs, and operational procedures. • Design and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions. • Plan and execute capacity management and performance tuning activities. • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture documents. • Mentor L1/L2 team members and provide technical guidance. • Coordinate with OEM vendors and infrastructure teams. • Drive automation initiatives using Shell/Korn shell scripting. • Support 24x7 critical production environments. • Installation, configuration, and administration of IBM AIX on Power Servers. • AIX OS patching, TL/SP upgrades, security remediation. • User, filesystem, process, and kernel administration. • NIM Server administration and mksysb recovery. IBM Power Systems • IBM Power8/Power9/Power10 platform administration. • HMC (Hardware Management Console) administration. • LPAR, DLPAR, Micro-partitioning management. • VIOS (Virtual I/O Server) administration. [JD AIX | Excel] Storage & Virtualization • LVM (Logical Volume Manager). • Veritas Volume Manager. • SAN/NAS Storage administration. • NPIV, SEA, Virtual SCSI configurations. • PowerVM administration.
