Technical Operations Factory Handhelds Engineer (L2) – SOTI MobiControl
Factory Mobility Platform Engineering Design, administer, and optimize factory handheld device management using SOTI MobiControl. Define and govern mobility management standards for factory devices. Manage device enrollment, provisioning, configuration, software deployment, and lifecycle operations. Act as L3 escalation point for critical mobility incidents affecting factory operations. Drive standardization of handheld device management across factory environments. responsibilities for optimization of factory IT processes, technology adaptation, configuration definition, security event mitigation, and operational governance of production-related endpoints. SOTI MobiControl Administration Administer and maintain SOTI MobiControl environments. Configure: Device Groups Profiles Policies Compliance Settings Security Configurations Kiosk Mode Policies Troubleshoot enrollment failures, policy deployment issues, synchronization failures, and device communication issues. Support SOTI infrastructure and operational health. Maintain operational documentation and governance standards. Factory device management scope explicitly references SOTI MobiControl as the management platform for handheld and factory mobility environments. Rugged Handheld & Scanner Management Support factory handheld terminals and scanners. Manage: Android Rugged Devices Warehouse Scanners Production Mobility Devices Shared Devices Kiosk Devices Support device replacement, swap, refresh, retirement, and decommissioning activities. Troubleshoot mobile device hardware and software issues. Operational factory environments contain large populations of scanners and handheld devices managed through SOTI-based services. Manage: Device Hardening Security Policies Remote Lock/Wipe Device Compliance Vulnerability Remediation Investigate and mitigate security events impacting factory handheld devices. Coordinate with security teams and device owners during risk remediation activities.
