Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As a trusted advisor to utility clients, you will help drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging SAP S/4HANA Utilities and related SAP solutions to address business challenges and deliver innovative, scalable, and value-driven outcomes.
• You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and IT teams to understand business requirements, define transformation roadmaps, and design end-to-end SAP Utilities solutions aligned with industry’s best practices.
• You will facilitate requirements gathering workshops, fit-gap assessments, process discovery sessions, and solution design discussions across utility business processes, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
• You will lead functional solution design, configuration oversight, testing strategy, deployment planning, and hypercare activities while ensuring successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP CX, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and other enterprise platforms to deliver integrated business solutions.
• You will provide leadership during system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, go-live support, and post-production stabilization activities.
• You will lead client presentations, solution demonstrations, proof-of-concept initiatives, architecture discussions, and business value workshops to support strategic decision-making and solution adoption.
• You will contribute to business development activities including RFPs, RFIs, solution proposals, effort estimations, transformation assessments, and roadmap planning initiatives.
• You will mentor junior consultants and project team members by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, capability development, and delivery excellence across engagements.
• You will proactively identify risks, dependencies, process improvement opportunities, and optimization initiatives to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Technical requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP IS-Utilities FI-CA across implementations, rollouts, transformations, enhancements, and support engagements.
• Strong experience in: Business Partner & Contract Account Management, Main/Sub Transactions, Posting Areas, Account Determination, FI-CA integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal.
• Hands-on expertise in: Incoming/Outgoing Payments, Payment Lots, SEPA/Direct Debit Processing, Refunds, Returns, Cash Desk, and Payment Exception Handling, Open Item Management, Clearing, Account Maintenance, and Payment Distribution.
• Strong knowledge of: Dunning & Collections Management, Security Deposits, Write-offs, Debt Recovery, and Collection Agency Integration, Installment Plans, Promise-to-Pay, and Payment Arrangements.
• Experience with high-volume processing including: Mass Activities (FPMA), Payment & Dunning Runs, Interest Calculation, Batch Processing and Performance Optimization

Additional responsibilities

• Experience across Electricity, Gas, Water, and Multi-Utility business processes.
• Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery including Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, Configuration, Testing, Data Migration, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
• Experience in Functional Specifications, RICEFW Objects, SIT/UAT, Defect Management, and Production Support.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and client-facing communication skills.
• Exposure to utility regulatory processes including Customer Switching, Credit & Collections, Debt Management, and Revenue Protection.
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and AI-enabled SAP business processes.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and global delivery environments.
