Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP Datasphere data models and analytical solutions.
  • Design and develop Spaces, Local Tables, Views, Data Flows, Replication Flows, Transformation Flows, and Task Chains in SAP Datasphere.
  • Build and maintain enterprise data models, semantic layers, and analytical datasets.
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources using SAP Datasphere.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation logic.
  • Create and manage analytical models for reporting and dashboarding requirements.
  • Collaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and BTP teams.
  • Ensure data quality, security, governance, and performance optimization.
  • Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production support activities.

Mandatory Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere development and administration.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Data Modeling (Logical & Physical Models)
    • Data Integration & Replication
    • Data Flows & Transformation Flows
    • Replication Flows & Task Chains
    • SQL & Performance Optimization
    • Data Warehousing Concepts
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and non-SAP sources.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with security, roles, analytical privileges, and data governance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reporting & Planning.
  • SAP BW/4HANA development and modeling.
  • SAP BTP exposure.
  • Experience with HANA Calculation Views and SQL Script.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake, Snowflake, an d cloud data platforms.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
