Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance initiatives.
  • Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.
  • Manage master data domains including:
    • Material Master
    • Business Partner
    • Customer Master
    • Vendor Master
    • Product Master
    • Finance Master Data
  • Lead SAP MDG implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
  • Drive SAP S/4HANA data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Establish data stewardship and ownership models across business functions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to standardize master data.
  • Define and monitor data quality KPIs, governance metrics, and compliance standards.
  • Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and design discussions with stakeholders.
  • Support SAP transformation programs, Brownfield, Greenfield, and SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Mentor project teams and provide guidance on SAP Data Governance best practices.

Mandatory Skills

  • 8+ years of SAP experience with strong exposure to SAP Data Management and MDM.
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
    • SAP MDM
    • SAP S/4HANA Data Migration
    • Data Governance
    • Data Quality Management
    • Data Cleansing & Harmonization
    • Master Data Lifecycle Management
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Material Master Data
    • Vendor Master Data
    • Customer Master Data
    • Business Partner Management
    • Product Information Management
  • Experience with LSMW, Migration Cockpit, Data Services (BODS), or similar SAP migration tools. 
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models.
  • Experience in Data Validation, Reconciliation, and Governance Controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP MDG Functional or Technical expertise.
  • SAP Data Services (BODS).
  • SAP Information Steward.
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • SAP Fiori applications for Data Governance.
  • Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, or Semarchy.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP data platforms.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery exp erience.
