Job DescriptionEngineer / Senior Engineer – MEP Electrical ExecutionQualificationBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech Electrical) – MandatoryExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience inMEP Electrical works for high-rise residential or commercial building projectsJob LocationProject Site (High-Rise Residential Projects)Role OverviewThe candidate will be responsible forplanning, supervising, and monitoring electrical installation works at project sites. The role involves coordinating with civil, finishing, and MEP teams to ensure proper execution ofelectrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and associated electrical infrastructure as per project specifications and timelines.The position will work closely withMEP Managers, Civil Execution Teams, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality electrical installations.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Works ExecutionSupervise execution ofelectrical installation works including conduiting, cable laying, wiring, panel installation, and lighting systems.Ensure electrical works are carried outas per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.Monitor daily electrical work progress and ensure timely completion of activities.Coordination with Civil & Finishing TeamsCoordinate withcivil execution and finishing teams for proper integration of electrical works during construction stages.Ensure properconduit installation before concreting and finishing works.Resolve site coordination issues related to electrical services.Subcontractor SupervisionSuperviseelectrical subcontractors and installation teams.Ensure subcontractors followapproved methods, quality standards, and safety procedures.Monitor labour productivity and progress of electrical works.Quality ControlEnsure electrical installations comply withproject specifications, electrical standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct inspections forcable routing, panel installation, earthing systems, and electrical connections.Identify defects and ensure proper rectification.Material & Resource ManagementMonitor usage and availability ofelectrical materials such as cables, conduits, switchgear, panels, and accessories.Coordinate with procurement teams fortimely supply of electrical materials.Track material consumption and reduce wastage.Testing & Commissioning SupportAssist intesting and commissioning of electrical systems including distribution panels, lighting systems, and earthing networks.Coordinate with consultants and inspection authorities for approvals.Documentation & ReportingMaintain records ofelectrical work progress, inspections, and testing reports.Assist inquantity verification and measurements for billing purposes.Preparedaily and weekly progress reports related to electrical works.Safety ComplianceEnsure electrical works are carried outin compliance with site safety standards and electrical safety regulations.Monitor safe handling ofelectrical equipment and installation tools.Technical Skills RequiredStrong knowledge ofelec
