In this role, you will be the owner of software quality that is critical to drive the customer experience for grocery. Your work will influence customers at Amazon scale across some of the most well-known worldwide brands. At a high-level, a successful candidate will possess deep expertise in QA methodologies while also being motivated to innovate within role. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>- Define and execute on comprehensive test strategy for medium to large projects (with an emphasis on automated execution)<br/>- Having experience in testing and automating for large scale applications<br/>- Having experience using and developing AI agents in STLC<br/>- Be able to dive deep on issues with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to root cause<br/>- Possess expertise with at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python or C#<br/>- Have a thorough understanding of the application development life-cycle, CI/CD, and testing in an agile environment<br/>- Demonstrate strong ownership and ability to work autonomously and find solutions when challenges are presented<br/>- Have experience with one or more test/bug management tools (eg. TestRail, JIRA, etc.)<br/>- Mentor other engineers as needed<br/><br/>A day in the life<br/>Quality Assurance Engineers are the owner of the features' quality. They work with product, development and other teams to deliver high quality product to Amazon's customers<br/><br/>About the team<br/>We deliver high-quality customer experience by providing end-to-end quality engineering, automation, and operational excellence across Grocery Ordering, Merchant Tools, Workforce Management and OS Platform initiatives. <br/>
- 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience<br/>- Bachelor's degree<br/>- Experience in manual testing<br/>- Experience in automation testing<br/>- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control<br/>- Experience in API & Mobile testing<br/>- Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)<br/>- Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis<br/><br/>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
