The L5 Program Manager at Amazon SSD network is responsible for strategically planning, leading, and executing small to medium-scale projects and programs that drive operational excellence across Amazon's fast delivery network. This role focuses on managing selections, scaling initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of key programs that impact customer experience, speed and operational efficiency.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>Program Execution & Delivery<br/><br/>Own and manage lifecycle activities for 2-3 medium-sized programs simultaneously, driving end-to-end delivery from conception to implementation<br/>Develop and execute project plans, securing resources and managing implementation across cross-functional teams<br/>Track tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and milestones through regular status checks with stakeholders<br/>Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize timelines and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders<br/>Stakeholder Management & Collaboration<br/><br/>Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, product teams and other cross-functional teams to align on program objectives<br/>Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to all stakeholders<br/>Provide fortnightly status updates to leadership on program progress, team readiness, challenges, and support requirements<br/>Influence without authority by building trust and consensus across multiple teams.<br/>Use data and metrics to drive improvements and measure program success<br/>Conduct deep dives into operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement<br/>Create executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership<br/>Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to program objectives<br/>Launch & Scale Management
- 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience<br/>- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience<br/>- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
