Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in EDI/IDoc integration to manage SAP-side EDI configuration, IDoc processing, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support inbound and outbound IDoc interfaces.
  • Perform IDoc changes, monitoring, troubleshooting, reprocessing, and error resolution.
  • Configure and maintain Partner Profiles, Message Types, Ports, Basic Types, and IDoc-related settings.
  • Support SAP SD EDI scenarios covering sales orders, order acknowledgements, deliveries/ASNs, invoices, and related transactions.
  • Configure and maintain output determination/output management for relevant SD processes.
  • Create test data and test scenarios and support Unit Testing, SIT, regression testing, and UAT.
  • Coordinate with IBM Sterling/middleware teams for end-to-end EDI testing and defect resolution.
  • Analyze SAP-side interface issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test evidence, and interface documentation.
  • Support implementation, deployment, production monitoring, and post-go-live stabilization.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong 7+ years of experience in SAP SD, preferably in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Good experience with EDI, ALE, and IDoc processing.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Partner Profiles, Message Types, IDoc monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of SD output determination/output management.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
  • Experience supporting EDI/interface testing and integration with external middleware.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Other Requirements

  • Understanding of X12/EDIFACT EDI transactions.
  • Basic ABAP/debugging knowledge for coordination with technical development teams.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.
